This  department  of  the  hospital  have  following  sections  : -

	Histopathology  &  cytology
	Biochemistry
	Hematology / clinical  pathology
	Blood  bank
	Microbiology  &  serology

These  departments  are  supervised  by  full  time  consultants  in  each  department  with  post  grade  degree  and  adequate  experience. 

Histopathology & Cytology Sections deals with all types of biopsies, cytology ( fluid /pap ) 
and F.N.A.C’s equipped with tissue processor, embedding station and cytospin for cytological 
diagnosis. beside routine staining, special stains and immunohistochemistry is also done. 
CT guided F.N.A.C for intra – abdominal

Biochemistry  Section  supervised  by  full  time  biochemist  equipped  with  autoanalyser,  minividas,  blood  gas  analyser  ( na+,  k++,  ca++ )  &  quantiamate  for  turbidimetric  tests.
  

• To  maintain  quality  of  all  biochemical  parameters  external  &  internal  quality  assurance  programme  is  followed  and  results  are  also  compared  with  other  labs. 

  Laboratory  services  are  available  round  the  clock  ( 24 x 7  days  )  for  other  hospitals  and  out  patients.             

  Hematology And  Clinical  Pathology  also  supervised  by  full  time  md  doctor.  this  section  is  equipped  with  5  part  and  3  part  blood  cell  counters,  coagulometer,  microsystem  for  e.s.r  and  nyocard.  
    

• To  maintain  quality  of  all  parameter,  controls  are  run  on  daily  basis.  Hematological  tests  are  carried  out  round  the  clock  ( 24 x 7  days ) 
  and  services  are  also  given  to  the  patient  from  other  hospitals. 
  
  

   BLOOD  BANK 

  We  are  running  state  of  the  art  blood  bank  equipped  with  cryofuge,  deep  freezers,  platelet  agitators,  automated  elisa  processor  and  axsym  systems. 
  Whole  blood  and  all  types  of  components  ( packed  cells,  platelet  concentrate,  
  ffp  &  frozen  plasma )  are  available  round  the  clock  ( 24 x 7  days )  on  exchange  basis. 
  We  are  also  equipped  with  apheresis  equipment  for  single  donor  components.      

  MICROBIOLOGY

  Full  time MD  MICROBIOLOGIST is  supervising  this  section.  facilities  are  available  for  routine  culture,  blood  cultures  ( bact.  alert ),  tb  cultures,  fungal  culture,  elisa  tests,  western  blot  test  &  serological  tests.
